UAW look to dictate to Michiganders that “You don’t have the ‘Right to Work’ “…. Good luck with that!

“Asking voters to decide Right to Work ban is gable for United Auto Workers”

It appears the United Auto Workers union does not trust Gov. Rick Snyder to be its firewall to stop Right to Work.

The UAW and a coalition of unions will launch a statewide petition drive hoping to gather a half million names to cement the ban on RTW into the constitution, assuming Michigan voters back it.

It would block Right to Work but the union president remembers that 400,000 Democrats stayed home during the last election. Hence this effort would also gin up the Democratic base to vote not only for the ban but for the president and every other D on the ballot as well. They call it a two-fer.

Some of the captains of industry contend they do not want a fight, so they have the option to let the unions do their thing without interference. But will they? Can they?

Common Sense Review

The Unions think their rights supersede everyone else.   It is time to put these people in their place.
There are 2 Congressional bills before the House and Senate.  A federal law requiring “Right-to-work” would neuter these jackals from suffocating industries.

Interesting enough SEIU, UAW and other Unions encourage “Occupy Wall Street” but when there is discussion of no raises for union worker, union leaders gnash their teeth yelling “Unfair practices”.   I wonder if a starting wage of $15/hr with benefits and pension is a fair wage.  How about $35/hr.?

Note to Union, be careful how far you push.  We here in Michigan don’t like being cornered and will come out fighting for the liberty of free enterprise and to be under the thumb of a tyrannical entity who use “thuggery” tactics to persuade people.
